If you’re a fan of the Disgaea series, then you’ll be happy to know that Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness PS3 ISO game is now available as a PS3 ROM. This latest installment in the series features all new characters and an all new story. The game picks up right where Disgaea 4 left off, with Valvatorez and his friends attempting to stop an evil plot by Void Dark.
The biggest change in this game is the addition of a hub world. In previous games, all action took place on randomly generated maps. Now, there’s a central hub world where you can explore, talk to NPCs, and take on side quests. It’s a welcome addition that gives the game more structure and makes it feel less like grinding through random battles.
Combat has also been tweaked slightly in D2. Characters now have access to two weapon types instead of just one, which opens up some new strategic possibilities. There are also some new special attacks that make use of the environment, such as using fireballs to incinerate enemies standing next to lava pools.
