The story of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax PS3 game takes place two months after the events of the original game, with Yu Narukami returning to Inaba after a year-long absence. He finds that his friends have been kidnapped by Shadow Operatives lead by Labrys, who claims that they are saving them from an even greater threat.
Along with Rise Kujikawa and other new characters, Yu must fight his way through several floors of enemies in order to save his friends and stop the Shadow Operatives.
